Raiders Place OT Donald Penn & OL Jon Feliciano On Injured Reserve

The Oakland Raiders officially placed OT Donald Penn and G/C Jon Feliciano on injured reserve to make room for their new additions.

Other roster moves from the Raiders include:

  • Raiders promoted LB Brady Sheldon to their active roster. (NFLTR)
  • Raiders signed OL Ian Silberman off of the Browns’ practice squad. (NFLTR)
  • Raiders signed TE Marcus Lucas to the practice squad.

Penn suffered the foot injury during the first quarter of Sunday’s loss to the Cowboys after he was rolled up on.

The Raiders had Marshall Newhouse move to left tackle with Penn out of the lineup.

Penn, 34, originally signed on with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of Utah State back in 2006. After a few months in Minnesota, Penn signed on with the Buccaneers during his rookie season and spent eight years in Tampa Bay before he was released back in 2014.

The Raiders signed Penn to a contract soon after before signing him to a $21M extension this past September.

In 2017, Penn appeared in 14 games for the Raiders and is rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 23 offensive tackle out of 84 qualifying players.
