Raiders Promoting DL Branden Jackson To Active Roster

According to Scott Bair, the Raiders promoted DL Brenden Jackson from their practice squad. He will take CB D.J. Hayden‘s spot on the active roster after officially being placed on injured reserve.

Jackson, 24, signed on with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of Texas Tech. Oakland decided to make him one of their final roster cuts back in September but signed him to their practice squad after clearing waivers.

He has yet to appear in an NFL game.

During his four-year college career, Jackson recorded 135 total tackles, 22.5 tackles-for-loss, nine sacks, seven passes defended, three forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries.
