Rick Smith, the agent for DT Pat Sims, announced via his Twitter account that his client has re-signed with the Raiders.

According to Smith, Sims receives a one-year contract from Oakland.
Sims, 28, appeared in all 16 games and totaled 53 tackles and two sacks for the Raiders. He was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 17 defensive tackle in the league last year and showed promise as both a run-stopper and as an interior pass-rusher.
