Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Raiders and veteran S Reggie Nelson have agreed to terms on a new one-year contract.
Nelson, 34, is a former first-round pick of the Jaguars back in 2007. He spent three years in Jacksonville before he was traded to the Bengals in return for David Jones and conditional draft pick.
Nelson played out his contract before signing a two-year contract with the Raiders back in 2016 worth up to $12 million.
In 2017, Nelson appeared in all 16 games for the Raiders and recorded 89 tackles, one interception, two forced fumble and five pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 56 safety out of 87 qualifying players.
