The Oakland Raiders announced Friday that they’ve signed former AAF DE Alex Barrett to a contract.
Barrett, 25, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Lions as an undrafted free agent out of San Diego State back in 2017. He was waived a few weeks into the regular season and was on and off of Detroit’s practice squad for the past two years.
Barrett signed on with the San Diego Fleet of the AAF earlier in the year.
In 2019, Barrett recorded 15 tackles and two sacks in the AAF.
