The Oakland Raiders announced Friday that they’ve signed CB Senquez Golson to a contract.
Golson, 24, was taken in the second round by the Steelers in the 2015 NFL Draft. He was in the second year of his four-year, $4.001 million rookie contract when the Steelers cut him loose in October of 2016.
Golson signed on to the Buccaneers’ practice squad last year, but he lasted just a few weeks in Tampa Bay before he was cut loose.
Golson has yet to appear in an NFL game.
During his four-year college career at Ole Miss, Golson recorded 130 total tackles, six tackles for loss, 0.5 sack, 16 interceptions, 11 pass defenses, and scored one defensive touchdown.
