Adam Schefter reports that the Raiders are signing QB Nathan Peterman to a contract on Wednesday.
- Ian Rapoport confirms the news and adds that Peterman is being signed to the practice squad.
Hereโs the Raiders updated practice squad:
- TE Paul Butler
- S Dallin Leavitt
- FB Ryan Yurachek
- RB James Butler
- OT Jamar McGloster
- WRย Saeed Blacknall
- LB James Cowser
- WR Johnny Holton
- QB Nathan Peterman
Raiders HC Jon Gruden has beenย very highย on Peterman since he entered the NFL and a report from Tuesday said that Oakland could add him to their practice squad in the coming days, so this doesn’t come as a big surprise.
Peterman, 24, was taken in the fifth-round of last year’s draft by the Bills. He signed a four-year, $2.63 million contract and stands to make a base salary of $555,000 for the 2018 season.
The Bills made the decision to finally move on from Peterman last month.
In 2018, Peterman has appeared in four games for the Bills and completed 54.3 percent of his passes for 296 yards, one touchdown and seven interceptions. He also rushed for 50 yards and touchdown.
