Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Raiders have placed LB Ray-Ray Armstrong on waivers Tuesday.
Armstrong, 24, originally signed on with the Rams as an signed undrafted free agent out of Miami back in 2013. He lasted over year in St. Louis before he was waived and later claimed by the Raiders in October of last year.
He’s is in the final year of his three-year, $1.485 million rookie contract and stands to make base salary of $585,000 for the 2015 season.
This season, Armstrong has appeared in 10 games and recorded 21 tackles, one sack and a fumble recovery for the Raiders.
