Pro Football Talk, citing a league source, reports that the Raiders also waived WR Kenbrell Thompkins on Monday, as they trimmed their roster down to 75 players.
- Bill Williamson of ESPN reported not too long ago that the Raiders are releasing RB Trent Richardson.
Thompkins, 27, signed with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of Cincinnati last year. He was able to make the Patriots 53-man roster coming out of the preseason, but released the following year a few weeks into the regular season.
The Raiders later claimed Thompkins off of waiver back in October of last year.
In 2014, Thompkins appeared in 14 games and caught 21 passes for 262 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
