According to Michael Gehlken, the Raiders are waiving WR Johnny Holton on Monday to make room for TE Darren Waller, who has been signed off of the Ravens’ practice squad.
Holton, 27, wound up signing on with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of Cincinnati back in 2016. He managed to make the 53-man roster each of his first two years in Oakland, but was cut loose at the start of the 2018 season and later signed to their practice squad.
The Raiders promoted Holton to their active roster last week.
In 2017, Holton appeared in all 16 games for the Raiders and caught four passes for six yards
