Rotoworld.com reports that the Oakland Raiders have made the decision to retain DT Richard Seymour which means that they’ll be paying his $7.5 million roster bonus.
The Raiders released CB Stanford Routt earlier in an attempt to shed some salary but new GM Reggie McKenzie said that he wasn’t going to be making any “wholesale changes” to the teams roster.
Seymour will make $15 million for the 2012 NFL season and will be paid the entire $30 million extension that Oakland gave him last year.
