Raiders Worked Out Three WRs Including Seantavius Jones

According to Howard Balzer, the Oakland Raiders brought in three receivers for tryouts on Wednesday including  Seantavius Jones, Francis Owusu, and Tevaun Smith.

Of this group, the Raiders signed Smith to their practice squad.

The Raiders’ practice squad now consists of:

1. WR Keon Hatcher
2. CB Breon Borders
3. DE Fadol Brown
4. G Jordan Simmons
5. TE Pharaoh Brown
6. C James Stone
7. DB Tevin Mitchel
8. RB Elijah Hood
9. LB Brady Sheldon
10. WR Tevaun Smith

Jones, 25, originally signed on with the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of Valdosta State back in 2014. He lasted two years in New Orleans before signing on with the Eagles in February of last year.

The Chiefs would sign him to a contract a few months later and he was on and off their practice squad last season. Unfortunately, Kansas City elected to cut him loose coming out of the preseason.

In 2015, Jones appeared in three games for the Saints but did not record a statistic.
