Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch mentioned during and online chat session that the Rams could look to add Derrick Ward as their backup running back to Steven Jackson.
Ward was recently released by the Buccaneers and could provide some depth at running back for the Rams, who have been in search of a backup for some time now.
This is the first option that has surfaced for Ward but then again he was just released so it would be surprising to see him jump at the first offer.
