The Los Angeles Rams announced that CB Troy Hill was arrested Saturday morning for suspicion of a DUI and will be inactive on Sunday.
The Rams released the following statement regarding Hills’ arrest:
“We are aware of the incident involving CB Troy Hill that occurred Saturday morning. As it is an ongoing legal matter and we are still gathering information, we will have no further comment at this time.
Troy Hill will be inactive for tomorrow’s game versus the Miami Dolphins.”
Hill, 25, originally signed on with the Bengals as an undrafted free agent out of Oregon back in May of last year. He was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason but later signed on to their practice squad.
Hill had a brief stint with the Patriots last year before he was claimed off of waivers by the Rams.
He’s currently in the second year of his three-year, $1.575 million contract and stands to make a base salary of $525,000 for the 2016 season.
This year, Hill has appeared in nine games for the Rams and recorded 38 tackles, no interceptions and two pass defenses.
