The Los Angeles Rams officially released WR Nick Toon and placed DB Winston Rose on waivers on Wednesday.
Toon, 27, is a former fourth-round pick of the Saints back in 2012. He was cut loose by New Orleans last year as they trimmed their roster down to 53-players coming out of the preseason.
Toon worked out for a few teams during the year before eventually signing on to the Rams practice squad towards the end of the season.
In 2015, Toon appeared in just a single game, but didn’t a statistic.
