Adam Caplan is reports that the St Louis Rams have reached an agreement with free agent TE Jared Cook.
Multiple sources have since confirmed that Cook will sign with the Rams.
The Dolphins were reported to be aggressively pursuing Cook as well. We’ll have more as the news becomes available.

Jim Thomas reports that there was some “false info” distributed regarding the Rams and Jared Cook, but adds that St Louis remains interested.

Jim Wyatt reports that the Rams and Dolphins are currently “chasing” free agent TE Jared Cook.
Wyatt adds that as of now, it appears as though the Rams are the favorites.
With Martellus Bennett already off the market, Cook should be able to command a very large contract. The Rams do have some cap space to work with, but they also need two starting safeties as well as improvements at receiver and to their offensive line.
