Veteran LB Will Herring announced via his Twitter account Tuesday night that he’s signing with the St. Louis Rams.

Herring, 31, looked to have signed with the Cowboys back in March, but the two sides apparently walked away from the deal at the last minute.
St. Louis just waived LB Ray-Ray Armstrong, so they could use some help at linebacker, but it’s hard to say if Herring will offer much beyond contributing on special teams.
Last year, Herring appeared in all 16 games and totaled 14 tackles and an interception while playing for the Saints.
