Pro Football Talk reports that the St. Louis Rams recently brought in a number of free agent receivers including former Saints WR Nick Toon for a tryout.
- The other reiceved who tried out for the Rams includes: Issac Blakeney, Kain Colter, DaVaris Daniels, Jordan Leslie, Tyler Rutenbeck, and Taylor Washington.
Toon, 26, was entering the final year of his four-year, $2.51 million rookie contract when he was released by the Saints as they reduced their roster a few week ago.
Toon recently worked out for the Cowboys and Titans, but didn’t receive a contract offer.
In 2014, Toon appeared in seven games and caught 17 passes for 215 yards receiving and a touchdown for the Saints.
