According to Adam Schefter, the Ravens are signing K Justin Tucker to a four-year contract extension worth $23.05 million.
Tucker’s deal includes $12.5 million guaranteed in the first two years and an $8 million signing bonus. All of those are the highest ever for a kicker.
Tucker was entering the final year of his contract. With the Patriots signing K Stephen Gostkowski to set the kicker market, it’s no surprise the Ravens are making this move.
Tucker, 29, was signed by the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of Texas in 2012. He was re-signed as a restricted free agent in 2015.
The Ravens placed the franchise tag on Tucker in 2016 before re-signing him to a four-year extension.
In 2018, Tucker played all 16 games for the Ravens. He was 35-39 on field goals and 36 of 37 on PATs.
