Ravens HC John Harbaugh told reporters Monday that CB Tavon Young has a season-ending torn ACL in his left knee.
“He’ll fight his way back. There’s no question about that,” Harbaugh said, per Jeff Zrebiec.
The Ravens are really hurting at cornerback right now, as they currently have just four players at the position on their active roster. Zrebiec mentions that Baltimore could look to promote Terrell Bonds and Khalil Dorsey from their practice squad once Young is placed on injured reserve.
Young, 26, is a former fourth-round pick of the Ravens back in 2016. He was entering the final of his four-year, $2.945 million contract when the Ravens signed him to a three-year, $25.8 million extension last year.
In 2020, Young appeared in two games for the Ravens and recorded two tackles and no interceptions.

Well with all the injuries to RB’s right now, Baltimore should look to trade either Ingram or Edwards and go get a CB. I would imagine since Edwards is a FA next year, he would make more sense, but from a money standpoint it would probably save Baltimore money to trade Ingram and probably get a better return. Edwards has some upside… he is younger, cheaper and is a good runner. If they traded Ingram, then they should look to extend Edwards contract. I think Ingram is a good RB and underrated even though he was a pro bowler last year. He is 30 yrs old, and at $5M/yr he is a steal still. He could give a team great value for a few years. They also have Hill returning probably this week that also showed some upside last year as well.
