Ravens DE Brett Urban Out 12-14 Weeks With Torn Biceps

The Baltimore Ravens announced Saturday that DE Brett Urban does, in fact, have a torn biceps and will miss somewhere between 12 – 14 weeks.

Jamison Hensley of ESPN reports that Ravens second-year DE Brett Urban suffered a torn biceps and could miss the entire 2015 season as a result.

This is horrible news for Urban, given that he missed his entire rookie season after he tore his ACL.

Urban, 24, has three years remaining on his four-year, $2.52 million rookie contract that included a $300,584 signing bonus. He stands to make base salaries of $435,000 (2015), $600,000 (2016), and $690,000 (2017) over the remainder of the contract.

During his three years at Virginia, Urban totaled 75 tackles, 16.5 tackles for a loss, three sacks, 11 pass defenses and a forced fumble.
