Update:
Jeff Zrebiec is now reporting that the Ravens are, in fact, trading LBย Kamalei Correa to the Titans.
- Adam Schefter adds that the Ravens receive a 2019 sixth-round pick from the Titans for Correa.
Jeff Zrebiec reports that the Ravens are making progress on a potential trade involving LB Kamalei Correa. According to Zrebiec, the Titans are a possible destination for Correa worth watching.
The Ravens had been using Correa at inside linebacker, but it’s become clear he’s a far better edge rusher, which happens to be a position of strength for Baltimore.
Correa, 24, is a former second-round pick of the Ravens back in 2016. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $5.749 million contract that includes $3.452 million guaranteed and stands to make base salaries of $972,694 and $1.23 million over the next two years.
In 2017, Correa appeared in all 16 games for the Ravens and recorded 15 tackles, no sacks and a pass defense.
We’ll have more regarding Correa as the news is available.
