The Baltimore Ravens announced Monday that they’ve signed DL Jihad Ward to their active roster.
Ward was among six players who tried out for Baltimore earlier in the day.
Ward, 25, is a former second-round pick of the Raiders back in 2016. He was in the third year of his four-year, $5.539 million contract when the Raiders traded him to the Cowboys for WR Ryan Switzer.
Dallas wound up waiving Ward coming out of the preseason last year and he later signed on to the Colts’ practice squad. Indianapolis promoted him to their active roster soon after before cutting him loose last week.
In 2018, Ward has appeared in six games for the Colts and recorded four tackles and three sacks.
