Jeff Zrebiecย is now reporting that while a deal is not done, the Ravens are planning to sign WR Griff Whalen if his physical comes back okay.

Jeff Zrebiec of the Baltimore Sun reports that the Ravens worked out veteran WRย Griff Whalen on Friday and he took a physical for the team.
According to Zrebiec, there is mutual interest between the two parties and the Ravens do have an open roster spot, so this is something to watch in the coming days.
Whalen, 27, signed on with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Stanford back in 2012. He spent f0ur years in Indianapolis before he was placed on injured reserve and later waived from the listย back in January of last year.
The Dolphins later signed him to a contract only to cut him loose at the start of last season.ย Whalen had brief stints with the Chargers and Patriots last year.
In 2016, Whalen appeared in eight games and caught two passes for 22 yards receiving and no touchdowns for the Chargers.
