Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that free agent K Randy Bullock, who was with the Giants for the first week of the season, has his passport updated and could travel to London in time for their Week 7 game if K Josh Brown is suspended or released in the coming days.
The NFL announced Thursday that they’ve re-opened their investigation into the domestic violence allegations against Brown following new documents that show him admitted to abusing his ex-wife physically and emotionally becoming available.
It’s possible that NFL commissioner Roger Goodell could place Brown on the commissioner’s exempt list much like he did with Ray Rice and Adrian Peterson in recent years.
Bullock, 26, is a former fifth-round pick of the Texans back in 2012. He spent three years in Houston before signing on with the Jets in November of last year.
The Giants signed him to a contract coming out of the preseason while Brown served his one-game suspension. New York later released him upon activating Brown.
In 2016, Bullock has appeared in one gameย but did not attempt a field goal. He converted two of three extra point tries and had three touchbacks.
We’ll have more regarding the Giants and potentially adding a new kicker as the news is available.
