Ian Rapoport of NFL Media is now reporting that the Redskins also brought in some receivers for workouts including former Ravens WR Marlon Brown, among others.
Rapoport doesn’t offer any other names, but they’ll probably available later on in the day.
Brown, 25, wound up signing on with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of Georgia back in 2013. The Ravens elected to not tender him a restricted offer, but later re-signed him to a one-year, $675,000 contract back in March.
Unfortunately, Brown’s 2015 season ended after he suffered a back injury during Week 11 and was subsequently placed on season-ending injured reserve. Baltimore later waived him a few weeks after this year’s draft.
In 2015, Brown appeared in 10 games for the Ravens and recorded 14 receptions for 112 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
