According to Josina Anderson of ESPN,ย the Redskinsย have interest in re-signing free agent LB Zach Brown and CB Bashaud Breeland this offseason.
- A team source tells Anderson that it “obviously it has to be at the right price” for them to bring either player back.
- Anderson adds that it’s her understanding that Brown wants to be compensated “like a top 3 inside linebacker.”
- According to Josina Anderson, the Redskins are expectingย WR Terrelle Pryor to “test the market and see what the market bares first.”
Last month,ย JP Finlay of CSN Washington reported that contract talks between the Redskins and Brown are “ongoing.”
As for Breeland,ย Finlayย reported that he would likely be given an opportunity to test the free agent market next year, but there’s still a chance he could be back in Washington for the 2018 season.
Brown, 28, is a former second-round pick of the Titans back in 2012. He finished his four-year rookie contract with Tennessee before signing a one-year,ย $1,250,000 contract with the Bills as an unrestricted free agent in 2016.
