Ahmad Bradshaw & Giants Far Apart

ESPN’s John Clayton reports that New York Giants and RB Ahmad Bradshaw are not close to an agreement and adds that Bradshaw will be meeting with the Cincinnati Bengals.

ProFootballTalk reports that the Washington Redskins “could be making a run” at RB Ahmad Bradshaw.

This is interesting news considering that the Redskins haven’t been linked Bradshaw until and because the market for running backs has really died down in recent days. The Cincinnati Bengals have also been mentioned as a possibility but the Giants would have to still be considered the favorites.

Earlier in the week the Miami Dolphins were negotiating with Bradshaw but felt that the asking price was to high and consequently dropped out of the running for him.

As far the Redskins are concerned, the addition of Bradshaw would be a great addition considering that as of now Ryan Torain is their main back. A combination of the two of them would be a pretty strong tandem and they would essentially be taking away from their division rival.
