The Washington Redskins officially re-signed DE Frank Kearse on Monday, according to the NFL transactions release.
This comes just a few days after the team released him in order to free up a roster spot for OLB Houston Bates, who was signed from their practice squad.
Kearse, 26, is a former seventh-round pick of the Dolphins back in 2011. However, he lasted just a few months in Miami before he later signed on with the Panthers.
Since then, Kearse has played for the Titans and Cowboys before joining the Redskins on a one-year contract back in May.
In 2014, Kearse appeared in 15 games for the Redskins and recorded 15 tackles and three sacks.
