The Washington Redskins announced on Monday that they have re-signed LB Nick Sundberg.
Sundberg, 29, wound up signing on with the Panthers as an undrafted free agent out of California back in 2009. He lasted just a few months in Carolina before he was waived coming out of the preseason.
Sundberg later joined the Ravens towards the end of the 2009 season but he was signed off of their practice squad by the Redskins just a few weeks later. Washington brought him back on a futures deal and later signed him to a four-year contract that just ran out.
In 2016, Sundberg appeared in 14 games for Washington.
