Redskins Officially Cut 34 Players

The Washington Redskins have officially cut their roster down to 53 players ahead of today’s deadline.

Other Roster Moves:

Perine, 23, is a former fourth-round pick by the Redskins in the 2017 NFL Draft out of Oklahoma. He was entering the third year of his four-year, $3.05 million rookie contract. 

In 2018, Perine appeared in five games and recorded eight rushing attempts for 32 yards (4.0 YPC) and no touchdowns to go along with three receptions for five yards receiving (1.7 YPC) and no touchdowns. 

Quick, 29, is a former second-round pick of the Rams back in 2012. He played out his rookie contract with the team and re-signed with Los Angeles to a one-year, $3.75 million deal.

Quick signed on with the Redskins to another one-year contract in 2017 and has remained in Washington the past two seasons.

In 2018, Quick appeared in six games for the Redskins and caught three passes for 18 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
