The Washington Redskins announced the signing of veteran QB Colt McCoy on Thursday.

This move comes as a pretty big surprise given that we hadn’t heard anything about McCoy being an option for the Redskins in recent days.
Washington now has Robert Griffin III, Kirk Cousins and McCoy on their roster, so this will only increase the speculation that Cousins could be traded in the weeks leading up to the NFL Draft.
