According to Adam Caplan, the Redskins will sign DT Treyvon Hester on Monday.
Washington will sign Hester, released by the Eagles during final roster cuts this weekend, to their 53-man roster.
Hester, 26, was a seventh-round pick by the Raiders out of Toledo in 2017. He signed a four-year, $2.5 million rookie contract and was entering the second year of the agreement when the Raiders waived him coming out of the 2018 preseason.
The Eagles signed Hester to their practice squad and then called him up to the active roster in October. He was waived by the Eagles coming out of the 2019 preseason.
In 2018, Hester appeared in 12 games for the Eagles, recording 13 total tackles and one sack.
