Redskins WR DeSean Jackson Expected To Miss A Few Weeks With Separated Shoulder

Dianna Marie Russini reports that Redskins WR DeSean Jackson is expected to miss a couple weeks after he separated his shoulder during Thursday’s practice.

Jackson apparently ran into a blocking sled while finishing a route.

Jackson, 28, has another two years remaining on his three-year, $24 million contract that included $16 million guaranteed. He stands to make base salaries of $3.75 million over the final two years of the agreement.

In 2014, Jackson appeared in 15 games for Washington and caught 56 passes for 1,169 yards receiving and six touchdowns. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 43 receiver out of qualifying players.
