Michael C. Wright reports that an NFL source has informed him that Chicago has “explored the possibility” of signing free agent G Brandon Moore.
Wright adds that the Bears are considering re-signing Lance Louis as well.
Mike Garafolo tweets that the Bears are also monitoring free agent guard Kevin Boothe.
The Bears have limited cap space to work with, which essentially takes them out of the running for top free agents like Andy Levitre and Louis Vasquez unless they can restructure some contracts in near future.
Other speculative options for Chicago could include Donald Thomas and Ramon Foster.
