Bengals Officially Name Hue Jackson Their New Offensive Coordinator

Update:

———

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Bengals are expected to promote Hue Jackson to their offensive coordinator position following the news that Jay Gruden will be the next head coach of the Redskins.

Jackson landed in Cincinnati after he was fired as the Raiders head coach. He was given the title of special assistant to HC Marvin Lewis and running backs coach, but the fact that he is a well respected coach with a lot of experience made him a luxury for the Bengals coaching staff.

Some even believe that the Bengals’ offense could improve under Jackson as there has been a lot of criticism of Gruden and the offensive struggles during the postseason.
