Will Burge of ESPN Cleveland reported Tuesday morning that Cleveland Browns second year running back Trent Richardson will be held out of team activities and practices until August.
Cleveland reportedly fears Richardson’s current right shin injury could potentially develop into a stress fracture.
The team is taking precaution to ensure that Richardson will be as close to 100 percent as possible by Week 1 in September.
Richardson in just one NFL season has accumulated a grocery list of injuries which includes a pair of knee scopes, two broken ribs, migraine headaches and now shin concerns.
