ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Falcons have reached an agreement on a three-year contract with DT Jonathan Babineaux.

Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun reports that the Atlanta Falcons are “closing in on” a three-year agreement with DT Jonathan Babineaux.
Babineaux, 32, had one sack, 42 total tackles, one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries in 2013. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 28 defensive tackle in the league and a well above average run defender.
