Candice Naranjo of KRON Bay Area 4 reports former Bengals, Raiders and Falcons LB Thomas Howard was killed in a high-speed car accident Monday morning.
Howard was the driver of a BMW 750Li sedan that collided with the rear of a semi-truck in the left lane. Howard’s car also struck a Chevy Monte Carlo and Honda CRV, which also resulted in the death of Honda driver.
Howard was drafted by the Raiders in the second-round of the 2006 NFL Draft. He was last with the Atlanta Falcons, but released last week to make room for LB Sean Weatherspoon.
