Michael Silver of NFL Media reports that “multiple” Browns’ players including WR Jarvis Landry yelled to the Cardinals’ sideline on Sunday to “come get me.”
More fallout from the Jarvis Landry tirade during the Browns-Cardinals game: I'm told by two sources that before the game ended, 'multiple' Browns players yelled at the Arizona sideline to 'come get me'–asking to come play for the Cardinals. Landry, I'm told, was one of them.

During the game, Landry was seen on the sideline arguing with HC Freddie Kitchens.
Landry later told reporters that he wanted to be more involved in the team’s passing attack, which led to the incident with Kitchens.
โI just went and asked for the ball,โโ Landry said, via Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com. โI just went and asked for the ball to try to get involved in the game to help. Thatโs pretty much it.โ
โAgain, I just went and asked for the ball,โโ Landry added. โI felt like I hadnโt touched the ball since the first quarter, and weโre inside of 10 minutes in the fourth, and I still hadnโt touched the ball. Well, that play I touched the ball. So you know.โ
Last week, Jay Glazer reported that Browns WR Odell Beckham Jr has told other players and coaches throughout the year to “come get me.”
Clearly, frustrations are mounting in Cleveland in the midst of what has been a very disappointing 2019 season for the team.
Kitchens has said he’s not worried about his job security and recent reports have mentioned that there is support within the team for him to return next year. Although, the situation is worth monitoring over the final two weeks of the season, given what has transpired in recent weeks.
Landry, 27, is a former second-round pick of the Dolphins back in 2014. He was entering the final year of his four-year, $3.5 million contract when Miami traded him to the Browns last year.
Cleveland later signed Landry to a five-year, $75M extension with $47M guaranteed.
In 2019, Landry has appeared in 14 games for the Browns and caught 74 passes for 1,018 yards receiving and five touchdowns.
We’ll have more regarding the Browns and Landry as the news is available.
