Mike Garafolo reports that the New England Patriots have re-signed WR Julian Edelman to a one-year deal.
- Ian Rapoport reports that Edelman’s deal is “incentive-laden.“
- Edelman’s injured foot is reportedly “healing properly,” although he could miss a portion of OTAs, per Rapoport.
This news comes shortly after the Patriots signed restricted free agent Emmanuel Sanders to an offer sheet.
Edelman recently visited with the Giants, but there hasn’t been a lot of momentum regarding the idea since then.
