Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reports that Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski is closer to doubtful than questionable for Sunday’s game against the Buccaneers.
A previous report indicated that Gronkowski has a 50-50 shot at playing in Week 3, but Florio’s sources suggest he has only a 25 percent chance of suiting up.
As things stand right now, Gronkowski is more likely to return in Week 4. A report from Monday indicated that he was able to put in a solid practice, so we’ll have to see if anything changes regarding his status in the coming days.
