Jay Glazer of Fox Sports reports that Broncos WR Wes Welker will in fact be out for Thursday’s game against the Chargers.
All signs were pointing to Welker being held out, so the news comes as little surprise. Welker missed practice on Tuesday after he suffered his second concussion of the season during Week 14’s win over the Titans.
Demaryius Thomas and Eric Decker should see plenty of opportunities with Welker out of the lineup.
