Free Agent WR Laurent Robinson Could Soon Have A New Team

Tom Pelissero reports that free agent WR Laurent Robinson has been cleared by Orlando-based clinic for concussions.

  • Pelissero believes Robinson could sign with a new team “soon.”

Robinson has already met with a number teams since deciding to return to NFL including the 49ers, Colts, DolphinsJetsLions, Patriots and Saints, but has been skipped over in favor of guys like Austin CollieLavelle Hawkins and Julius Pruitt.

This might have been due to concerns relating to Robinson’s history of concussions, so we’ll have to see if interest picks up in the coming days.

Adam Caplan reports that free agent WR Laurent Robinson will work out for the Indianapolis Colts on Thursday.

Aaron Wilson reports that free agent WR Laurent Robinson will work out for the New Orleans Saints on Monday.

Robinson last played for the Jaguars in 2012, but suffered multiple concussions, which subsequently led to his release. The Jaguars signed him to a five-year, $32.5 million contract back in 2012 after his breakout season with the Cowboys.

Claiming he is symptom free, Robinson plans to resume playing and doesn’t mind doing so on a non-guaranteed contract.
