540 ESPN Milwaukee reports that Packers RB Ryan Grant “should be good to go” for Week 5 match up against the Atlanta Falcons.
Grant sat out Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos after suffering a bruised kidney in week 3 but the team didn’t miss him much at all. Grant noted that he was cleared to play in yesterday’s game elected to be cautious regarding the injury. The Packers are likely to continue their time-share against the Falcons as Grant looks to be a better straight ahead runner than James Starks. Just another weapon for Mike McCarthy’s offense.
