Adam Schefter reports that Saints LT Terron Armstead tested positive for COVID and is out for Sunday‘s game against the Broncos.
The Saints will place Armstead on the COVID-19 list later today and add someone to their roster.
Armstead, 29, is a former third-round pick of the Saints back in 2013. He’s in the fourth year of his five-year, $65 million contract and stands to make base salaries of $1.05 million and $10.15 million over the final two years of the agreement.
In 2020, Terron Armstead has appeared in 10 games for the Saints, making 10 starts for them at left tackles.
