The New Orleans Saints announced that they’ve placed veteran CB Kyle Wilson on injured reserve Friday and signed DL C.J. Wilson to a contract.

Kyle Wilson, 28, is a former first-round pick of the Jets back in 2010. He spent five years with the Jets before signing a one-year contract last year with the Saints.

New Orleans elected to bring him back on another one-year, $840,000 deal back in March.

In 2015, Wilson appeared in 15 games for the Saints and recorded 28 tackles, an interception, a fumble recovery and four pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 47 cornerback out of 111 qualifying players.

C.J. Wilson, 29, is a former seventh-round pick of the Packers back in 2010. Wilson played out his rookie contract with Green Bay before signing on with the Raiders as an unrestricted free agent back in 2014.

Wilson most recently played for the Lions, but was cut loose back in February.

In 2015, Wilson has appeared in 12 games and recorded 12 11 tackles and sack between the Raiders and Lions.
