Nick Underhill reports that the Saints have re-signed CB Arthur Maulet to their practice squad.
Maulet, 24, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of Memphis back in May. He was set to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract when the Saints cut him loose coming out of the preseason and later signed him to their practice squad.
New Orleans promoted Maulet to the active roster for Week 3 but was waived shortly afterward.
During his college career at Memphis, Maulet recorded 109 tackles, 4.5 sacks, four interceptions with one being returned for a touchdown, a forced fumble and a recovery over the course of two seasons and 25 games.
