Saints Re-Signing DT David Onyemata

Mike Garafolo reports that the Saints are re-signing DT David Onyemata to an extension on Monday. 

Onyemata, 27, is a former fourth-round pick of the Saints back in 2016. He finished his four-year, $2.88 million contract and was set to be an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his career. 

In 2019, Onyemata appeared in 15 games for New Orleans and recorded 32 total tackles, three tackles for loss, three sacks, and one pass defense.
