Ian Rapoport of NFL Media is reporting that the Saints signing Lions free agent G Larry Warford.
- According to Rapoport, Warford receives a four-year, $34 million contract with $17 million guaranteed.
This is a big addition for the Saints, who made an attempt to sign Kevin Zeitler before he agreed to a massive deal with the Browns.
Warford, 25, is a former third-round pick of the Lions back in 2013. He played out his four-year, $3,075,000 contract with the Lions and was testing the open market for the first time in his career.
In 2016, Warford appeared in 15 games for the Lions and was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 20 guard out of 72 qualifying players.
